Solar Orange
Headlights are getting cracked open, sprayed and buffed this weekend.
Ended up finding an experienced local guy that's doing it for a low price. I'm having him do my cutoff shields in blue.
Should have picks soon.
Also, I just noticed I've never posted any pics with the new wheels either...

Hey fellow Solar owners,
I'm looking for a little help in making a decision. I'm planning my blacked-out headlight project and am going to be painting my cutoff shields so in the daylight they reflect the color out of the lens. I am debating on whether to paint the shield black or to paint it a medium-deep blue. The reason for the blue idea is that I have burnt Ti exhaust tips and lug nuts so I have a theme of slight touches of blue on the exterior. I feel that with a completely black housing the blue would still be very understated but I do not want to reach the point of it being tacky/ricey.
What do you guys think? Black or blue?
To give you an idea of what I mean, the passengers side headlight in this pic from Kno (hope you don't mind) looks silver due to the reflection of the silver cutoff shield. So when looked at from an angle, my lights will appear whatever color I paint it. And no, when I turn on my headlights, none of this color will show.

Nice!
Where did you get the titanium cooling plate? I wish I would have gotten that rather than my aluminum one...
I'll also be working on some engine dress-up later this month.
