What's the difference between a 'Fairlady Z' and the 350z we see today? Also, what does NISMO stand for & what's the difference from standard Nissan?

I just tried 'perma-seal' I purchased from a local auto show; nice, very nice... I've got a few swirl marks that it took care of.

I just rebadge it with the JDM badge. The difference is the true Fairlady Z is right hand drive. Personally, I just liked the name better.
Nismo is Nissan Motorsports. It's like the M arm of BMW. Or like TRD for Toyota.

Also note though that Nismo is a seperate company from Nissan Motors.

Thanks for that 'history'. Another question, yes, I'm female, so from time to time you may get a series of questions....
The 350z view on the 'intro' page of this site (50/50 chassis); is this available on any clothing, etc.? I'd like to find a cool site that offers a better selection of '350z stuff' than the Nissan site....

tell me about your rims: what size, offset, brand, tire size. I really like the look! I have the stock wheels and looking to upgrade once the rain stops here in Portland.

They are the 20 inch Asanti AF130's. I went 20x10 in the rear and 20x8.5 in the front. No rubbing at all. I will have to get back to you on the tire size, I don't recall off the top of my head. The rear wheel has one of the biggest offsets I've seen so far at 3.5 inches. Deep dish is playa!

There are some metallic flakes in the MB paint. IIRC, they were purple and green.
