Silverstone.

 

i wondered that, but the silverstone seems quite a bit darker than mine. i still say its chrome silver. . how would i truly find out, is there another way besided paint code. ive seen the pics for silverstone and it looks like a little darker shade and doesn't get so bright in sunlight.

 

Actually, you might be right.

However, every year, there's 1 special color that is only produced for that specific year and that year only. Or was it 2 colors? At any rate, some of these colors are: Brickyard, Interlagos Fire, Ultra Yellow, Nogaro Red, Le Mans Sunset.

 

im lookiing through some papers i have from when the car was bought and its chrome silver. been wondering for some time, since i don't really get to see any other z's around to compare.

I think you either have Chrome Silver or Liquid Aluminum. Is your car an 04'? Is it a touring model? Only 04' Touring models with the special $1K paint job were Liquid Aluminum. Otherwise, you got your self a CS like me. KY0 should be your paint code.

To each his own and there's a purpose behind the graphics. My car was a featured vehicle at SEMA 2008 for Tokico Shocks in the Main Hall. You can't go to an event like that and expect to be noticed among the hundreds of other cars there with just a silver paint job and a bodykit. Plus my sponsors like it and I like it... that's all that matters at the end of the day.

im pretty sure nobody's "hating" on it..but you know you wouldnt be driving around town forever with those sponsor decals/vinyl on..

it is a pretty sick scheme tho since it does relate to that japanese style waves..

 

+1. i understand that its a sponsorship thing and thats good that you like it. thats all that matters. i just state my opinion in that i dont like.
