Default Custom Door Panels Question

Found this custom door panel picture in the Z gallery section.
Does anyone know whose car this is, or where they had the door panels made (or modified) to match their burnt orange seats?

http://www.350zonline.com/gallery/al...JDM_door_panel

Note caption says "Mustard JDM Door Panel"
Wondering what/who the JDM stands for...

Would like to do this mod for my own car.
Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks!

Well...that's the right hand drive version so I'm just guessing it was done in Japan or the UK. It looks like they just had the door panel painted.

That's not the stock "burnt orange" seat either.

Thanks, am thinking of checking out an upholstery shop to cover the door panels in orange leather which would have to match the burnt orange net seats. OR I may have to do black leather panel covers instead, which would be fine. Am just not crazy about the OEM panels, and think if I could really match my BO seats leather, that would be cool!

Thanks for the suggestion, but am not keen on painting the door panels... And upon quite a bit of further consideration I think doing the door panels in orange leather would 'cheapen' the effect of the BO net seats and perhaps the overall look of the car... Will have an upholstery shop cover the door panels with black leather panel covers.

Have knee surgery set for the 13th so actually doing my ZR mods will have to wait a little while. Will be laid up for awhile which gives me time to plan/arrange everything I am considering...

Hey netman_one, what's that white round disc on your seat belt? Thanks.

It clips over your seatbelt (waist and shoulder belts) when you put it on to stop it from riding up on you (just slide to adjust fit).

Made by COBBS and is actually a grey color. Works well, and I picked them up at Target for $3.00 a pair. Somtimes I leave them on the belt, or clip one on when needed. Ladies hate the belt riding up on their neck, which is why that one was on passenger belt in that picture...

Bubble- When you paint the door panels is it hard to get the vinyl off. I've been wanting to do this for a while but I've been affraid of making a mess of my door panels.

Thanks

you will need to SAND them down. Not that hard if you have the right tool.
