Default 2005 Touring at $500 over invoice

Hi guys,

I was searching for a 2005 ZR PPW Touring, Manual and 1 dealer offered me $1000 over invoice. OTD price will be $38,000. Another dealer offered me $500 over invoice. One of the dealer said that the car has been there since Nov. 04.

Is this a good price? The supply of this car is pretty high these days and the demand has been stagnate now. I know the GT is coming out soon so it should push the Touring model down as well. I'm just a little worried that the car has been at the dealer since Nov. 04.

In any case, any comments or feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Peter

How many miles are on it? If its over 100 milles I would be a little worried it was used as a test mule.... Personaly I won't buy a new car if it has over 25 miles on it....

I just got my 05 touring a couple weeks ago. I ordered it and had to wait for it to come in but paid $38,050 so $38K is a great price! As far as the miles, I agree with Built2shredZ. When I picked mine up it had 21 miles on it which I thought was kind of high for a car coming straight from the factory already being sold before it hit the dealership.

$500.00 over invoice is a good price...make sure there are no more surprise hidden cost at the last minute like set-up fees & etc. Have it all itemized in your contract before you sign.....Good Luck

sorry for this late reply, I bought my 04 touring 350 ZR in november, The best time to buy a roadster is when it's about to start snowing. I paid $ 3000 under invoice, cash deal. And get this, the dealer was happy.

You said invoice?

If it's invoice, that's an incredable deal. I got mine at the end of november for about $350.00 below invoice.
04 touring/ at /18" wheels /navi system. And seems to be the best anyone has (had) done. What was the final price if I may ask.

Thanks
