Default Audio upgrades in roadster......a question

I'll be upgrading the entire audio system in my ZR. My question is concerning the rear speakers. I know many coupe owners say that you don't even need rears with a good set of front speakers, however, I've also heard that the roadster is different and that the rears definitely help with the imaging and overall volume with top-down driving.

My question is this: Should I invest in a good set of rear speakers and power them accordingly, or is it true that even in the ZR with the top down, the rears will only add a little "fill" with a strong set of front components?

Unless you have an infinite amount of money to spend, I would scrap doing anything to the back speakers. That money is better spent on the fronts or sub.

I decided not to invest too heavily in rear speakers and purchased some mid grade Clarions that are powered by my Pioneer headunit. The front speakers do most of the work and are powered by a Rockford amp. Having the headunit push the rears adds just the right amount of fill for top down driving...at least for me anyway.

since it is Roadster, the sound will lost nearly 50% (due to noise) compare to coupe. With rear speaker, it will help out a lot.
