Convertible Top Care ??
Ok - The consensus looking at several threads and sources seems to be that Raggtop products are very good at cleaning and protecting convertible tops.
As I have a 3 month old Z I would like to start out with the correct care product.
Can someone comment on whether I should be buying and applying the vinyl or the cloth care products. My salesman? says the top is vinyl. Many of the comments seen seem to indicate that the top may also contain cloth but that it has been coated or bonded to vinyl. If vinyl is the top surface or coating should I be using a vinyl product.
Does anyone have a tech contact at Nissan that I can get a conclusive answer from?
Appreciate any help.

You're in the right forum now but the question is one that has been hashed around numerous times so people might be bored with it. Use the search engine and brush up on all that's been said so far. If you still have a question then come on back.

just use soap or whatever car wash product you use. dirt gets trapped inside the groves on the top and over time (a loooong time, though), the dirt particles keep rubbing against the cloth... which causes wear and tear.
although i doubt it'll ever have a huge impact, you might as well just wash/soap it whenever you wash the rest of the car.
