Thanks. I prefer the stage 2 because it is carb certified which is important in California, otherwise you can get it ticket. So it's nice to know that it's legal and no worries of being pulled over. Also I got the warranty, which warrants it for 3yrs/36 miles. Aside from the practical reasons I like it for the look (very dramatic) I have the polished version, so it looks sweet, and for the sound (nothing sounds better IMO), and I can definitely say I noticed a difference in the launches (without a doubt) The low end is where I feel it most. Adds a lot of torque!!! No problems yet (knock on wood). The Stillen SC is supposed to be solid, and even if there are problems, it is warranted against defect. Overall I'm VERY happy with it, and would definitely recommend... Let me know if you have any other questions.

Sorry, I forgot to answer 2 questions: I'm not 100% sure yet, since I have only driven it for a few days now, but it seems that the gas mileage is suffering quite badly. I think that it might be almost cut in half!!! (again still watching it) but it's FOR SURE worse! But what would I expect when I'm adding nearly 100hp (MPG is no object IMO ) When I feel the g's and hear the whine, I feel nothing but pure pleasure!!

As for the hood: Cost for the hood itself was about 700.00, and after painting and install it was about 1400.00. If you get it done right (IMO the only way to go) it will cost more because it will require more work for them to get the waviness out by putting multiple coats of primer and block sanding (labor is expensive for this).

I did a dynojet, and got

304rwhp
274lb torque (Torque was a straight line across the page!!!!)

I was a little dissapointed, and thought I would at least get in the low 320's, but it really isn't broken in yet. To make an apples to apples comparison, I'm going to take it back to the dynopack that I did before the SC was installed and see what my real hp gains are. I got 270 there with just a pop charger and nismo exhaust, so I'm hoping I'll see much better numbers there. I'll repost!!! If the numbers aren't satisfactory, I'm going to take it to Stillen and ask them to take a look at it, after all I paid quite a bit for it, and I want my 75rwhp gain that they claim on their site!

I hate to say it Rick but sometimes that kit is known for low numbers ( Remember I worked there ). I remember the Stillen day they had the past summer and they Dyno'd the stage 3 and it got about the same you got. The excuse they used was it was hot that day and the heat contributed to the low numbers. I don't remember if the kit is tune-able but either way I would go back and see what gives. I also remeber Rickdogg got 292 NA on his car so 304 does not seem right. However every Dyno is different and will yield different numbers....keep me posted on it and the seat electrical thing.

Yeah I was expecting 320whp on your setup RIck I think the 270whp with the popcharger is as a litte too high!!!

Sorry I missed this the first time out. That is a hawt looking ride. The hood is really aggressive and lets you know she means business.(That is of course if you are deaf and can’t hear her yelling at you first to get the F**k out of your way… LOL )

Congrats.

P.S. Yes it is a never ending money pit....

Depends on where you are. If you are in Socali, I would recommend Performance Nissan, they installed mine, and will warranty their work. They are in Duarte, CA
