Or how about when it started to drizzle a bit. Kind of embarassing, like "you dumbass, why are you driving with the top down when it looks like it may rain?".

Cool thing about that day (or at least I thought it was kind of funny) was when the family in the car next to me had their faces planted on their windows, smiling, looking in amazement as the top was going up.

If you think about it, most people who have never owned a drop top have never seen it in action. I made their year!

Sweet!

I'm slowly getting my car together. I had to put the GReddy kit on hold to help out a good friend.

I hope to be back on track this summer.

I can't wait to see your car, your vert doors look sick!

Good luck next week and I'll see you on the 4th!

Anyone had bees fly in while the top is down? I've had over 3 bee experiences luckily I haven't been stung.

I've had bees fly in to a sedan and they couldn't get out. That's really scary when you are driving. At least with a drop top they should be able to buzz out easily. What happened? I haven't had the top down yet and it is still winter so haven't had that unfortunate privaledge yet

Drop top, sedan, bah. Try riding a motorcycle and have a bee fly up your sleeve. Happened to me and it was no fun. I've also had insects fly into my helmet, but fortunately, no bees.

We are the mature, more sophisticated type so the ***** sessions we stay out of.

LOL jk I just think more roadster owners are older and do alot less modding.

LOL, well I am older and have no plans for any modding. Car is pretty much perfection as is (or at least I hope it is!). 34 deg here now, I am sure looking forward to being a tad bit warmer and then it is top down all the way!

The weather's been a bit unpredictable here, so the Z has been slumbering ...
