Default 06 roadster fit 19x10" rims in rear?

Hi,
i just got an 06 roadster but it bugs me that the coupe get the 19" in the back stock but the roadster only gets the 18" because the wheel base was modifiied. So the dealer is willing to swap me the rims, but can it fit?

they say the 19" rear ones have 265/32 tires for which it will rub on the roadster. so my question is can i still take the 19x10" rims and put them on a 245 or 255 size tire and still be ok?

I know i'm an amature at this.

why would the parts/service guy at the nissan dealership tell me 265 is not going to fit cause the wheel base was changed for the roadster? are they tryin to screw me over?

we pay the same amount for the grand-touring package either for coupe or roadster so why would the reduce the rear wheels from a 265/35 19" (coupe) to a 245/45 18" (roadster) ? i guess i should just slap on the 265 and take it around and see if i notice anything

More predictable handling was decision for Nissan to keep ZR on 18".
Because of the weight distribution on front/ rear axle is different frm coupe.
ZR are little heavier.
The 19" rear wheels will fit without problem, dealer staff explanation of wheelbase difference is BS, the floorplan is same, ZR has only added reinforcement structure.

I have the 275/35 Toyo in the back running on 19x10's in the back and have not had a problem (Until that is I lowered the car and added a bunch of pounds through aftermarkets stuff, even then I rolled the fenders and not a problem now.)

Go for it... Looks awesome.
