Default Just got an '06 GT Roadster - have some maintenance questions

What do you all use as far as Armor All or other kind of protectant? Since the interior surfaces are textured, is there something other than armor all that would work better? Is there something specific that you all use? I'm open to any suggestions or random tips! Thanks!

I have been using the 303 Protectant on all of the vinyl surfaces (dash, console, lower portion of the doors, and behind the seats). However I have not tried it on the textured door panels. I would imagine that as long as you applied it to the cloth rather than spray it directly on the door panel it would reduce the chance of uneven application, thus preventing "blotches," which is my main concern.

It beats Armor All hands down in my opinion, and it keeps your convertible top looking like new.

It's good to know that you can use that cleaner on the top. I would assume that they get pretty nasty over time. good info here - thanks!

Raggtop vinyl top cleaner and protectant, it makes water bead up on your top like wax and gives it a deep color. 303 Aerospace on the interior will protect without the greasy feeling and splotches.

Raggtop is a different product. 303 is actually the product name and is specifically designed for convertible top care. Here is the link to the product.

Thanks, JMT. Great links.

Does anyone know if Raggtop and 303 products are available at retail locations, or are they sold on-line only?

Thanks much JMT I really appreciate this information. As soon as I get off this evening I am getting some and cleaning this top lol. My car is for the most part always clean (wax) but my top needs some love.

303 makes a variety of products for interior and top care. I prefer the Raggtop cleaner and the Ragtopp protectant.

I found the 303 products in a marine supply store called Boaters World. I buy the Raggtop online, but other ZR owners say they get it at auto supply shops. You might want to try a search on this.

I use 303 protectant and cleaner as well ... good stuff. Just remember the ZR's top is made with a synthetic/vinyl material so do NOT get the cloth protectant. The cleaner is a generic cleaner and can be used on both vinyl and cloth. The reason I'm pointing this out is there's a few jacka$$es out there that swear their ZR's top is cloth. I personally have read from representative's of the Haartz convertible company (Leading vert manufacture in the world) that it is in fact synthetic/vinyl.

btw: 303 smells a helluva lot better than armor all

Ok, just to make sure b/c i'm totally paranoid about messing my top up, is the 303 Convertible Top Cleaner the way to go? It says it's for Fabric/Vinyl. Please forgive me for being a "newbie" - make fun of me if you'd like, i just want to make sure i'm getting the right products!
