LED = light-emitting diode It gives out pretty bright light at low heat.
HID = high-intensity discharge It gives out very bright light and uses little power.

EDIT: This is the only one I have. You should come over this summer, have a beer and chill by the pool, clothing is optional (no tan lines FTW!)

Here's another one. I feel myself getting sicker. I think the only thing that could cure me is seeing some nice pics of a very attractive young lady.

sigh...a simple question, yet no one answers you...lol.....
This is what you are looking for:
a pair (2) of HID bulbs
color: 8000K
size: D2S
You don't need to take off the bumper to install them. however you will need to jack up your front end and take off the wheels. Unscrew the 3 front screws in your wheel well, pull out the fender liner, and you'll have access to the bulb.

i found this in the classifieds:
Is this what i need?
As you know several members are running these kits on the 350z, I myself run one of these kits and have been for almost a year with no problems thus far.
IF YOU DONT KNOW THE TYPE OF REPLACEMENT BULB YOUR VEHICLE TAKES CLICK HERE: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...de/default.htm
Good Reference for Accessing Headlights: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.p...14#post1560014
Prices are as follows:
$170 shipped for Regular Ballast Kit of any color
$195 Shipped for Slim Ballasy kit of any color
$100 Shipped for D2S or D2R Bulb any color (For Vehicle Already Equipped With HID's)
Both kits include:
Bulb of your choice
Ballasts of your choice
Wiring harness for battery so that ignitors do no pull current from factory harness
Mounting Brackets
Fuses, Hardware, Zipties
Everything Necessary For Complete Install.
Some newer vehicles have problems with aftermarket HID kits please make sure the vehicle you are ordering for is not one of them. The 350z works flawlessly with this kit.
Disclaimer Part: For offroad use only, not legal for street use, no aftermarket HID kit is legal for street use.

It's easier to leave the bumper on. You don't need to take it off.
