Do Women buy Roadsters?
Actually, I'm thrilled to hear there are more women, granted 2 here, that are modding ZRs.
My God Mother is Rocking a 99.9% stock ZR (threw a shorty antenna on it for her) but I feel she still has no real appreciation for the car. She thought it was pretty. haha

I think it depends on the look of the vehicle. The ZR is definitely a tough, sophisticated looking vehicle, either naturally in its stock or modified form. It's certainly not a "chick" car.
A chick car would be a Miata (MX-5?), Lexus SC430, and most definitely the VW Bug. These are a few that immediately come to mind.
Well I don't think the ZR is a chick car at all... it tends to ATTRACT attention from chicks more than be driven by them.
I actually decided against getting the 07 ZR and got the coupe instead because I would have had to dealt with panties being thrown into my car all the time at stoplights. It's not a bad thing but I'd hate having to keep discarding them everytime I am done driving, it would get rather annoying after a while.

Nah...the woman who sold me my 350ZR has a definate opinion about ragtops and whether they are chick cars or not. According to her logic almost all ragtops are chick cars except for the Vette, 350z and BMW 6 series. The rest are too feminine. I'm not sure if I would agree except for the Z.

I've seen an equal number of men and women driving the ZR around my town.
But, It's usually the older women who are bold enough to have their tops down.
90% of the time the top is usually up and it urks me.
So please drop the top for the sake of representing the ZR in it's true and most attractive form. Don't make me start taking a knife to your canvas!

Just kiddin'!! Good luck! See ya on the road.
Well, I'm a chic and I'm in love with my roadster. I was actually shopping for a roadster more than a Z, just stumbled across it and she said "take me home" so I did. I've been wanting a convertible for several years because we have about 8 months of beautiful weather here in eastern Oregon. I don't have any kids so I figured this was the perfect time in my life for this kind of car. So, I'm not sure if that supports the "chic thing" argument or not. No mods yet, I wanna pay it off first. But one of the things that was a factor in my decision was that there are hardly any Z's where I live. There's a black coupe in town, other than that, none for probably 50 miles. I'm very happy I bough the Z and if I had to chose again, I'd definitely make the same choice.

The ZR is certainly not a chick car, and for those "chicks" that do own them they have excellent automotive taste.......case in point.....
