I've heard that the one courtesy sells is excellent...better than Tein & easier to install.

I'm kind of interested in these.
With the hood dampers installed, does the hood angle up more giving one more space to work with than stock?

Mine sits almost exactly where the hood would normally sit with the safety bar in place.
I got to admit I like the dampers, you don't have to work around the bar and it also looks a lot cooler when you open the hood up.

Thanks for the reply. I changed my radiator hoses last week, and I can't begin to remember how many times I hit that hood bar.

You're gonna have to cut some of the plastic near the battery and brake fluid covers. If you don't, the hood will bow up (just a bit) when it's closed.

i dont mind cutting the plastic a bit. .in fact to save lil weight how ever much they weight i know its not really significant. .but i was going to get rid of them anyway. .but mine should be in soon from vivid racing. .so i'll take some nice pix for everyone to see. .

Default Hood Damper

I just completed the do it yourself hood damper mod and am very happy with the results. The hood opens AT LEAST 12" more than the stock bar.
