Default Top Problems

I bought a 04 about eight months ago. Now the driver side window will go down about 75% of the time and the top will not seat all the way when in the open position. I took it to the dealer, who kept it for two days and they said they couldn't duplicate the problem with the window and were unable to figure out why the top wasn't seating in the open position. Talk about **** pour service, they even tryed to get me to pay $80.00 for them to tell me they couldn't fix it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am having some difficulties with my drivers widow as well: Using automatic closing option the glass is going all the way up but doest stay there and drops down to about 75% close position... Looks like the top point setting is out of the spec.. i will take it to the dealers next week.. anybody had something similar?? any ideas what should I expect, what are they going to tell me ??

The window motors are a known weakness for the '04 models... so your dealership is ignorant.

My drivers side window was replaced early last year.. hopefully you have a warranty because they aren't cheap...

Good Luck!

Well the window stuck again and I brought it down to the dealer so they could see it stuck. They replaced that motor but said I would have to take it to a body shop for the top. WTF, whats a body shop going to do for me. They say they adjusted it and can't find the problem.
