Yeah the air bags were all replaced, including the modules that go along with it so that the sensors wont flash on the dashboard.....I will definitely post pics of the interior and let you guys check it out......seats were damaged but got them replaced as well.

True completely agree with you but I first wanted to restore the life of the Roadster and save money by buying used parts online....some parts were obviously hard to find which had to be ordered through the dealership which as you all know is a rip off....I am thinking of modifying it little by little...but first objection are wheels and tires, than exhaust (nismo), CAI, Headers (nismo). Body kits in NJ are rough, too many potholes, so I don't want to go in that area.

well the car actually costs only $8,100!!! Yeah mad cheap, but with parts that most of the time were hard to find at a good price, the dealership was the only way out. So unfortunately it was more like $2-3k more than the budget I had planned....but if you really break it down and think about the cost of Financing with interest rates, taxes, and titles I really did save a good amount of money and the car is mine to keep with a clear title ......I've done this before other cars......I do have plans in purchasing another vehicle perhaps in a year or so and do the same.

I got my 04 with 12K for $19,650. Clear title and smelled like new car still.

From what I've priced you saved $5,000 big ones so that wasn't a bad deal some 05 Roadsters pending how clean and what trim go $28K.

Your restore looks like it worked out great for ya and I don't think you could have bought a 05 coupe for $20k unless it was high mileage. IF the engine and tranny is good you made out like a fox in a hen how after 1:00am.

looks clean. I had a salvaged civic that i rebuilt to a fully custom show stopper before my Z and i had a difficult time selling it because of the salvaged title. Banks won't finance it. If you ever plan on selling it in the future, good luck. Nice work though.

Nahhhh...I think he wanted to be unique.

BTW nice job.... but I would of gone with the '06 LED tails, can be bought very reasonable...the headlights are very expensive

Also when you guys start comparing prices...the orange/black seats cost over a grand extra.....& they are much more comfortable too!

looks like you got the car from IAA, i think 20k for a salvage title is bit to much....is it clean title? but the work looks sharp! i just got a stripped roadster im working on.

When I bought my roadster picked it up with a few mods in perfect condition with about 22K for 20K plus tax, honestly I would say you paid too much for this, especially knowing your resale value will be next to nothing. Also it looks like the passenger side of the softtop isn't latched properly...

Well it sounds like a good deal to me (resale aside). I love projects, you end up knowing whatever it is that you're buying better and you can feel accomplished.

All that being said when it came to my Z I bought brand new. (Pick it up tomorrow!!) I just don't have the brass to take on such a huge project at this point in my life.

Kudos to you. Pat yourself on the back and if we ever bump into each other I'll buy you a beer.

A steal? of your money perhaps. I paid for my '04 roadster with 30K miles on it $21K... and thats not severely depreciated from the body work of a crash like that.
