Default Z's at dealerships?

I talked to a dealer today in the bay area. He says that the current shipments of roadsters are not the Touring edition. The touring editions will be shipping in the next few weeks.

Has anyone seen a touring yet at a dealership?

Yep, sure did. Today in St Charles, IL. I spotted it from the street and I did some poking around. Talked to some new sales kid and going over the goodies. Mostly a stripped touring, 17"s, no nav I think it had mats and that's it. This kid was trying to sell me on the other great features "this car has ABS too, WOW!". I then asked what the dealer markup was and he said 10g. I busted out laughing telling him your nuts. But, I did show me the droptop and I had to tell him you need to push the brake in for it to work. He spent a few min trying to figure it out. Cool looking down but up it really has a FAT A**.

Yep. there are a few touring roadsters here in the L.A. area dealerships. Most are adding premium of $4K or more to MSRP though. I would buy one except for the huge mark ups...

Default Waiting...

I ordered a silverstone touring w/vented seats, nav, and 18" wheels. Still have to wait a couple weeks. Good thing is that I'm getting it for MSRP.

That's dealer-speak for "We don't have any yet but the other dealerships do; please please please don't look around and and buy one somewhere else and come back and get one here."

I saw a touring roadster in the showroom last week because it has power and leather seats.
