That doesn't make any sense...how can you tell me that they are all be the same and then turn around and tell me to stay away from the '06 :P

There are a couple I have seen on autotrader that fit the bill but there is so much snow on the ground right now that it better be a steal for me to even consider it.

I think I am going to stick with the '05 even if it doesn't have the Brembos, there are so many gray ones without Brembos out there that it shouldn't be too hard to find.

PM me if you are still shopping. We have decided to sell our 04 1/2 (wife's DD). It looks like the 06+ GTs, because:

-It already has the Brembos (I installed them the day I bought it).
-It already has the 06'+ wheels with new tires.

Additionally, it has the burnt orange leather heated and vented seats with navigation.
Silver, Touring edition with BOSE
69,xxx miles
A few other little goodies (clear sidemarkers, JWT intake, battery cover, etc.)

We also had the hoops and rear section (behind the seats) painted body color. Nissan should be doing this standard, it looks fantastic. You can see it in the attached pics.

$20k with the Brembos and 06+ wheels
$18k with the stock wagon wheels and stock brakes

Wow that is nice,

A liittle too high in mileage for me but it does have everything I am looking for, assuming it's a MT.

It is an MT6, bummer about the mileage. It has been well maintained at the premier shop here in Northern California: www.zcargarge.com or www.zcarblog.com

From what I hear there is some oil consumption issues with the newer motors....besides I don't think there is much that changed between the gen1 and gen2 Zs, so why pay more money for the same car just because it's newer?

Now of course, assuming all things equal, if there was an 05 and an 07 for the same price, there is no doubt that I would take the 07 but who would sell their 07 for the same price as an 05?

It's over-hyped. Some 06s had oil consumption issues, most are fine. Unless you found an 06' with no miles on it, it would already have been discovered or would be discovered when you have a PPI done to the car by a reputable shop before purchasing it, and make sure they pull the spark plugs as well. You can also ask Nissan to provide you with all the service records of the car. I wouldn't shy away from one if it met the rest of my expectations.

I was just asking because I have found a couple07's for under 24k... and less than 25k miles on all of them.... I know that the VQ35de is a far inferior motor to the vq35HR, as far as strength of the internals or so I have read. I plan to boost it later so I want something that I can have a little more piece of mind with. I have an 05 Coupe now and I already went through 1 motor, I dont plan on doing it again.
