Noticed that the right rear of the convertible top on my 05 Z is a little abraded from ( I assume) rubbing on something. I think this is fairly common occurrence.
Is there something that can be done to extend the life of the top?

use protectant...
dont put the top down if it is wet or moist
dont scrub it too hard
eventually it will go anyways... but those are the steps to extend the life... had convertibles since 93

yea its common but preventable. The glass support bar inside is in the wrong place and rubbing on the canvas. bend both side inward twards the center so it supports the glass. covering the bar with soft felt wont hurt either.
