Does anyone feel the difference between oil brands? When I was living in Miami I used Pennzoil once, but the Z felt sluggish (even though the pressure gage looked normal) and it lagged some torque.

I went nuts after a week and changed back to Mobil1 oil (5W-30)… and I felt the difference. On the next oil change I experimented by adding 2-qtrs of 15w-50 and the rest with 0w-40 and the response felt awesome (specially in a Miami summer and traffic) Now that I moved back to L.A. I'm using mobil1 10w-30.

Has anyone experimented or felt oil band differences?

Trust me... I really looked around and really gave it some thought before posting this question. Instead of shooting someone down give some insight since you have been a member of this forum for a long time or don't post anything at all.
