Well it is actually against the law in cali but I personally liked the tint because it goes perfectly with a black Z

I was just fookin with you. I live in Cali, I think the headlights would look much better without that film since they are blacked out already. Just my opinion.

was it the ricer police? he did you a huge favor. what the heck is the ugly sticker near where the gas cap would be on the drivers side? you should get some 15mm spacers and you'd be set.

Default How much wheel weight to balance !

I agree ... very nice wheels (and I also agree, remove the blue Rays sticker if you can). But what I really notice and would concern me is the amount of wheel weight you see in the bottom picture (and that is only on the outside of the rim) !!! I would expect that these wheels would be much easier to balance than this (that looks like a LOT of weight). Were the wheels spun first to see how well they were in balance before adding the tire? Maybe the rim is true, but the tire is not?

Before looks better. Real though to beat those wheels.

+1 on sexy wheels, but I think the black Z could go with the contrast of the headlights without the tint. Looks great on the back lights though

My nismo came with a ton of weight on the rims from the factory, like 4-5 ounces on some of them. They use small weights though, so it's a long *** line, instead of a short block. Might be a byproduct of the forged wheels.

Is that the proper center cap for the Nismo rims? Or did you just use the nissan center cap from your other rims?

I love the look of the rims on your car....not crazy about the center caps.

That is the center cap it came with. I do plan to switch it in the near future.

Saw it in person yesterday. Gotta say the photos do not do the car justice. Wheels give it a totally different look. Great combination. Best looking roadster in town, and there are plenty. Post more pics as the project progresses.

Any chance there are new/additional pics of the ZR with the NISMO wheels? My wife and I are talking about putting them on her new ZR. Thanks!

I have some Volk Rays V2 on my ZR from an '08 350z GT. I have had them for about a year now. They are damn sexy, I get a compliment at least once a week from random people I have only seen one other ZR (which was some special edition rental car with the chrome version posted on this board) in the past 2 years with these wheels (I know the pic looks crappy with my cell phone and its taken at night) but trust me if you can find a set (took me about 1 year) go for it! I'll update with a better pic tomorrow during the day.
