I am looking for a cover for my Roadster. I am eyeballing the Courtesy Parts Nissan cover. What I am wondering is how the lock cables installs.

Does it go around the perimeter of the cover? (sounds like a PITA) or does it just go from once side to the other under the car. (like my old camaro cover).

I am mostly trying to decide how much hassle the locking cable is to install.

If someone could explain how the cable installs that would help me out.

Hey Andy,

I have a roadster and I purchased a cover from Courtesy. It fits like a glove and I could'nt be happier with it. The cable lock that Courtesy Nissan sells and the only one available for the cover goes underneath the car just about in the middle through two padded eyelets and then you attach a padlock (included) to it probably in the same fashion that you did on your Camaro. I did not buy the cable lock because I think it is a PITA to get on your hands and knees to screw around getting the cable from one side to the other.

I got my roadster cover from Courtesy nissan. Ii was under $200. They also sold me the locking cable. They ship pretty quick to.
