It's been gutted for some time now. Yes, the top was dropped for weight and the battery was rerouted beneath the tonneau.
Next I'll be peeling the layers of the tonneau apart because it is very heavy for it's size.
Also having two additional beams welded into the cage into the trunk for added rigidity.
I always love cruising about to find new z's and clubs. If there is ever anything at the midway point between us your guys are going to, i have no qualms with making the drive even though it isn't much of a street car... it is still leagl though...
