Roll over repair
#21
lol, at the people say that it seems to be totaled. Ummmm no, that damn thing is demolished, totaled, whatever you would like to call it as long as it has to deal with destruction. I've seen destruction derby cars in better condition than that!

Awe Hell! Like it was said earlier the 350z is of a unibody construction which means that the boady and the chassis are one. There is no separating the two. That car is beyond being totaled. I buy builders (wrecked cars) and repair them. I bought a 2005 350z Touring model that was hit in the rear two years ago to repair for myself and I will tell you this...... I have never paid sooooo much for replacement parts on any vehicle besides this one. for example, the aluminum subsection that holds the rearend was $500.00 and thats just a tip of the iceberg. Luckily, my body man was able to repair the quarter panels 9they buckled in the accident) cause they are $480.00 each. Mine was hit in the rear which shoved it into another car so it had major damage in the rear and major damage in the front. Secondly, the front end is made just about entirely of Plastic (although they have a fancy name for it other than plastic). TRUST ME! this car isnt worth repairing, even if you had the money...... because the parts will eat you alive and you could have bought a nice used one for a lot less. Most hard rolls, like you car, has too much unseen damage to even think about.

LOL...
nice first post. What really happened? Believe this "salvage" was posted up on the internet earlier.
Glad you're a few towns over from me. As one said, where did this happen?
Your neighbours must love this "parked" in your driveway. Pretty sure you're single handedly bringing down property value in Richmond Hill.

you might as well chalk this one up as a loss...i had an accident where i didnt have collision and it cost me 9k out of my pocket...use this as a lesson learned, to always have collision insurnace...part your car out for what is salvagable...and try to pay your loan off if you owe money...if not..pocket the money and move on cuz trust me...by the time you repair this **** you might as well just buy a used 350z for cheaper
that's what I'm thinking... from the looks of it you are WAY BETTER off buying a new Z. Between all the money you'll sink into it plus all the labor you'll have put into it. It's just not going to be worth it & that's assuming you even pull it all together. But surely you can find something out there around the lines of a 03-06 w/ reasonable miles for about 12-14k I'd think. If anything just part out what you can from the totaled Z or take what you can for spare parts then junk the rest...

At this I point say you take every working part like the engine, transmission, rear diff, ecu, etc. and put it in a different car, sorta like a transplant
Find a cheap motor-less S13 for like $800 (for a clean shell) and you'll be set.Your car will be like Frankenstein with it reborn with it's guts on a new chassis. DO IT!
