Picture below shows relocated Valet Switch. Also, the Emergency Trunk Release Cable is mounted below this compartment. Should one need to use the Cable, compartment box can easily removed (w/o tools).

Actually, it is on/off button to control trunk access. However, it is often referred to as a "Valet Switch." Quite common to see the switch located in a lockable glove box (interior).
I chose the location as the existing wires reached, and install was simple. Perhaps, in due time, I may consider relocating to an area that is more difficult to find.
Z coupes not have a valet switch?

UPDATED HOOD
Today, I traded my OEM rear bumper and hood for a minty OEM 2007 hood. Fitment was perfect. The previous owner had it wrapped in a white matte vinyl wrap. Wrap was removed for future paint. Again, condition was second to none.

Hi Mike,
Yes, I did have the lower section painted to OEM Nismo color. I believe it was K11.
Congrats on the conversion, your Z looks good! I noticed your rear bumper bar is bare, do you plan on hitting it with black paint?
John

Last week, I removed the clear plastic rock guards (forward of rear tire well). This was done in future preparation of side-skirts.

Hi Vex,
I have looked over the parts diagram for the sides, and it is straight forward, with limited number of parts. Since, it is very, very rare to find used Nismo V3 sides, the probability of purchasing them new is likely. Hopefully, before the end of year, I will pick up the sides. They are a little over $300 per side.
The front is more challenging. There are numerous parts that need to be purchased. Also, if I am not mistaken the fender liners will need to be replaced/updated on my ZR. This part of project will not take place until next year.
One item that is in question is the wing/spoiler. I may or may not utilize such. The V3 Nismo spoiler (coupe only) may not aesthetically suit the roadster. When time permits, I will debate the matter further. However, I did take the time to PhotoChop a V3 kit on a ZR....
Please be advised, other than painting, much of the work is being performed by yours truly. I est., it will be several months before the project is completed. I certainly appreciate your patience and support.
Cheers,
John H.
