Default Car Cover

Anyone have any experience with car covers for the ZR?
I recently moved to a new place and the parking is covered by trees that drop seeds and leak sap all over, obviously this is not good for the top or the paint so I am thinking of getting a car cover to put on it daily.
Is this even feasible or are they a huge pain in the *** to put on and off?
Thanks.

covers are good for the most part. It's the long term hassle of taking it on and off, day after day, week after week, for as long as you keep the car. If that's what it takes to protect the car giving your situation then seems logical.

Keep in mind; When those days come where you say "oh I'll come back out in a hour and put it on no big deal" and an hour turns into a 2 days haha, cant get lazy when it gets annoying later on. Also covers have left some surface scratches on like corners of bumpers, fender edges etc etc from the constant on off or being too tight in one area vs another so don't get a cheap one.

Covers will provide protection for the perils you mentioned and Nissan and some aftermarket suppliers make properly fitted covers for 350Z roadsters. However it’s only practical to place a cover on an absolutely clean car. If there is any dirt, dust or other crap on the paint it will transfer to the soft inner fabric of the cover. This will build up and will be like sandpaper each time you reinstall the cover. Most covers are too big to properly wash in a standard washing machine.

I recently had a construction project on my house close to where my Z is garaged. I wanted a cheap cover to put on the Z during the project from dust, etc..

Of all places I found one at Walmart for $20(?) maybe a little more. It's kind of a generic cover that fits several cars.

This may not do what you need it to but it worked fine for my purposes.
