so down south they should stick on fine, but does that mean it would be more difficult to take them off?

i was considering cutting the strip on the top piece of the grill (for the part that comes out for the tow hook to be revealed) so the top grill would be made of three pieces with two cuts for where the tow hook cover is, but i dont know if that would look weird or if it would fit perfect and look fine (i doubt).

any ideas?

Just a thought...the chances that your car is going to have to be towed are slim. If I were you I wouldn't worry about the tow hook. If you bought the strips (instead of the roll) you'll have an extra one in the event you need it for the future. A sharp razor blade would cut through the part you need if you have to have access the tow hook. Keep a blade in your glove box.
