Default Pics (I hope)

Brought the new ride home last night. Now I'm half way through the break in.

Had an open stretch of highway and got to 106 @4000 rpm in 6th gear. Minimal turbulance with the top down.

18" wheels are a $1200 option on the touring

liquid aluminum looks nothing like that. That car is silverstone and brand new. LA is actually white silver. Very close to chromesilver but even lighter.

It's SS/BO. The 18's were an option ($1200). I should have gone with the 17's and used the $1200 for new shoes. Probably won't come to the meet. I have to work that weekend and they are tough to trade.

Beautiful ride. The ventilated seats feel so great with the top down.

You'll grow to like the 18s. At least I did. I ordered mine with 17s but one with one came in early with the 18s and I jumped on it. I'm really glad I did. It looks great.

Agreed!! 18" look good. Better than 17's IMO.

I'm with you guys. I picked my ZR 8/7/03 & they only had the 17" available at the time. I gave $1100 (shipping included) for a nearly brand new set of 18" w/tires (no curbing & tires still had the 'nipples' on them), so I made out better than if I bought at the dealer with the $1200 option. I'm not one to put crazy/aftermarket wheels on though (just my preference, no offense to anyone that has them). I'm thinking of selling my stock 17", but I know they don't bring much $.

I have the auto. I've had it to 122 MPH w/top down & windows up. I was surprised at the lack of extreme wind in the 'cockpit'. The wind screen seems to really help this.

BTW, the Silverstone looks good. Enjoy the new ride!
