Default replacing seat covers...

Who has ever replaced their seat covers?
What did you go with, brand, material?
I have a 2004 with black leather, and the covers are worned.
I was looking at this in real leather for 500$

I have replaced the seat covers from cloth to leather on my previous car, Toyota Celica myself and it was tough, the principal is simple but requires very strong hands. a lot of pushing, pulling and cursing. The results were good but my hands were aching for days. I would recommend finding upholstery shops in your town and they can install it fairly cheap. and if you seats are worn or you want more firm seats then this would be the time to do it. My driver side was worn. I used steam to rejuvenate the foam but had to take it to the shop to install new foam. You can google how to on u-tube and can see many videos.
Hope this helps.

How long ago did you install them? Did you notice any issues with wear like in this thread?

Now that I'm ready to order, I can't get a hold of Interior Innovations. Are they still in business?
Beezee, how long didi it take between buying and delivery?

Not very long. They are actually made in Pakistan and mine shipped from there . I still stand by the quality 100%. Interior innovations is based in Michigan though

Finally I got my new covers. The order was initiated with Khalid of Interior Innovations on August 27th and was delivered on September 20th. So 3 weeks. Took me two days for the install. It's been raining for the last 3 days, so it's hard to take good pictures. Once I get them I'll post some.
Really like the quality, the leather is thicker than my original but is softer to the touch.
So, all in all I do recommend Interior Innovatios.

Thanks Beezee for your input

Looks good! The guy I bought mine from had the leather replaced by Katskinz, it's so soft. Love it.

Looks really good. You could have pulled them a bit tighter but my experience shows it will tighten up more over time.

I would recommend finding upholstery shops in your town, and Talon Accessories or similar installers can often help source or fit them fairly cheap. A lot of people with older trucks replace their worn seat covers. Katzkin is a common choice if you want real leather and a factory-style fit since it replaces the original upholstery rather than covering it. Others go with brands like Coverking for tailored covers that are easier to install. If the set you found is genuine leather for $500, that’s a reasonable price, just make sure it’s not leatherette or vinyl. If your seat foam is still in good condition, new covers can make the interior look almost new again.
