Greetings all..a good buddy showed up the other day driving a new to him 2005 350Z Touring and took me for a spin…loved the car and being the impulsive idiot I am I went online and found one of my own…2004 Touring..sent deposit and will pick it up next week…now I’m nervous I won’t fit…only rode in the passenger seat and had plenty of room..but I’m 6’4 240lbs…have had nothing but Corvettes for past 10 years and fit comfortably…from what I could find the wheelbase and legroom of the Z is within an inch or two of the C6 Corvette. Still I’m interested if there are any plus size guys out there who can give me some feedback…much appreciated…

 

Is said buddy local? If so ask him to let you drive his car

 

Every body shape is different, and everyone sits different in a car, so asking around is only worth so much.
I'm 6'3" 250 and would say I barely fit in a Z coupe - problem is mostly headroom for me, legroom is fine.
You can mess with the seats and the angle and probably make it work.
Steering column tilts but doesn't telescope - that sucks.
No way a helmet works.

I've been test sitting C6 corvettes and they seem a bit more snug shoulder & hip than the Z.
But a bit more headroom particularly with a clear top.
