Looks like the average age is around 40 for Z owners, based on all these replies.

20, paying for a 2006 Enthusiast. Loved the look for years and finally was able to get what I wanted.

I will have to agree with Bini2. I am 27 and have wanted a Z my entire life. I had a 240sx but I wanted the 300z so bad yet, those dang things don't lose any value if they are well kept. I made it a point that my first Brand New Car was going to be this Z ever since I new a new one was comin out ( took me 2yrs lol ). I don't care if I were 72 or 18 I would have bought it cause I wanted it - screw what everyone else thinks this car was a must have.

BTW - if anyone can tell me where to find some options so far as a spoiler is concerned for the Roadster let me know something - thanx !~

Thank you for your honesty. That must have been a thrill to have found out he was buying you a Z. Thank you also for grammatically accurate sentences and coherent posts. WE HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH THAT THIS MONTH!

It wasnt that he just straight up bought it for me. I am in college and also play soccer..I did receive scholarships for both academics and athletics which was his main incentive to buying me the Z. I know a lot of you guys get frustrated at the younger kids who own Z's but not all of us are jackasses. Im glad that some of ya'll can see past the ages...now im just waiting for Hraesvelg to come get me

48 -- No MLC. Restored, then sold, my '74 Spitfire. The open spot in the garage begged for another convertible so ....

It doesn't bother us that much when you are honest about it. There is just no real way that most kids that do not have decent full time jobs can afford a Z. I mean hell, i worked two jobs all through HS but the only car i could afford in HS was a 84 pontiac 6000LE and then a 97 Cavalier Z24 (I graduated in 1998). It wasn't until college when I was making good money at a couple of internships and still working as a bartender that I could afford the MR2 and all of the mods i put into it ($23,000 +).

The fact that you can also type coherent sentences is also a nice change from a lot of the younger people on here. Congrats on the car, and just don't take it for granted. It is a real wake up call once you get into the real world. I sold both of my MR2's and one of my maxima's to be able to afford my house. Renting is one thing, but owning a house is a whole different ball of wax. Not only are you now paying for the rent and some utilities, you have mortgage, taxes (about $4000 a year where i am at now), all the utilities, food, gas, insurance and repairs.

Oh yea, I am 26.

Unfortunantly creditors are willing to give loans to people who really can't afford them. This is one reason you are seeing so many young people buying 30k+ cars. They can get 6 year loans with very little down, the loan companies are betting that mom and dad will cover them if they can't make the payments...

I remember when I was 18 and applied for a credit card I was doing good to get a $500 credit limit. Now a days they give 18 year olds $5k credit limits without blinking.
