I'm kinda thinking that some might think that it's been in a body shop. Possibly wrecked or ?

If you are reading this and are the owner of an '03 model, F.Y.I., the hamburger emblem on the '03 cars have mounting posts which go through the sheet metal. So don't take it off, unless you are willing to fill the holes and do some paint work.

Nissan released the ZR as a 2004. There are no 2003 models. Perhaps the early 2004's have posts, but I've never heard of that. All coupes have the posts though.

Yep, that's exactly what I meant. Mine is a coup, should've said so in my reply. Sorry for the confusion if any was caused.

Thanks for the responses on the discoloring.

I was able to get mine off in less than 5 minutes by using the fishing line / hair dryer trick. No shadow that I can tell, and after a wash and two layers of Zaino you can't tell it was ever "burger-ed" :-)

Now to replace the front burger with the Z emblem. Did I see a post from someone that had an extra?

Glad to hear it! I thought about doing the Z emblem in the front, but I'm worried it's gonna be a pain in the *** to get the Nissan burger out of the recess.

I think the rear end of the 350ZR is its best angle espcially with it BA. Does the 350Z logo come off the same way? Anyone with pics of one completely BA'ed?

That looks really tasty, Dezigner. Did you drop down $30 for that Z emblem, and how do you specify which size you want? (the front emblem is bigger than the rear)

I bought it from: http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/exterior.html

$38...which I thought was outrageous, but....

And the front and back are the same size.

No, you remove the front recessed Nissan burger with a hair dryer and fishing line and then just drop the new Z emblem in.

I too was thinking about removing the emblems in the back of the Z; however, I thought about removing the 350Z emblem and leaving the Nissan "hamburger" in place. Even though I'm all for de-badging cars, I think the rear looks too plain without the center emblem, and the 350Z lettering always seems to catch washing mitts and drying cloths. Besides, I have a Z license plate frame with "Z" screw covers...

Default Finally.........

I'm Butt Naked and love it. I waited until it sat outside at 85 for awhile, borrowed some 15lb test from a friend and zip, off it came.

Then I decided to clean her up so I gave her the 12th & 13th layer of Zaino.

No, you're not "butt naked" since you still have the 350Z logo on. Has anyone a picture of truly "bare assed" Z. Personally I like a car that isn't a moving billboard. I don't consider it "plain". I prefer the term "clean". Anyone else agree?
