Default Un even tonnue cover

I think this was posted before. The tonneu cover on my car is about 1/8" higher than the trunk on the right side if you look from behind the car. The left is flush even with the trunk. you can run your palm from the trunk to the tonneau cover and feel the gap.

Is this an easy fix from the dealer ?

I could not find previous threads to print out so I can take it to the dealer.

Dealer should be able to fix. There are shims on both the trunk lid and tanoue cover.

Someone had posted about the rubbing and heat. I think there may be something to that. The 2 times since I have had my tonneau cover adjusted that I heard a "thump" sound on opening the top was right after I got off work and it was still very hot outside. I'm not going to open my top like that anymore for a while. I'm only going to open it while its cool to see if indeed maybe heat does have something to do with it. My tonneau cover looks level.

RUBB YOUR HANDS FROM THE TRUNK TOWARD YOUR TONNEAU COVER. IT SHOULD FLUSH WITH THE TRUNK. IT'S EVEN ON BOTH SIDES???
