Question "propeller" type of noice

I have been enjoing '04 roadster touring for 7500K (no problems).
As I get used to car, I have been taking her to the higher speeds (it took 1K)

Since I turn of my Bose to listen the sound of the engine, I have been hearing "propeller" type of noice from the passenger side. It becomes audible after 80/90 miles/h. And increases w/higher velocity (propelling). Anyone had experinced it? Do you have an explanation?

THX for the respond!

There is a tension cable in each side of the top. It runs along the outside seam. These cables have been known to come loose from the bracket they are clipped on as the top is put up and down. This would cause road noise and the edge of the top may begin to flap slightly at high speeds producing a propeller noise.

To check, from outside the car with the top up, grasp the top on the edge of the right side. Pull it up and see how much clearance you can get between the frame and cloth. If you can put your hand underneath, the cable is not attached.

From the inside with the top up, you can reach behind the frame hinge at the passenger headrest. You may be able to feel the end of the cable and spring. If it is dangling, it is not connected.

Check it out. Good Luck.
