im connected through business to ever nissan dealership in my area and all they say about it is how they cant sell any 370z. they sell more skylines then 370's. that has to say something. logical speaking

plus.. hating is when u hate someone for what they have that u dont. i personally love what i own and dont like the 370z. that in turn is a opinion not really hating right?!?

While I certainly respect your opinion, I disagree. I am a professional designer, closer to 30 than to 20 and I believe the 370 to be the first properly designed Z in quite some time. Don't be so quick to throw all those who prefer the 370 design into groups of "kids that don't know anything about style" or "Porsche chasers". It is my my livelihood to know style and design, and I find the car beautiful.

As for the headlight mod, I would rather see the strip of indentations along the inside edge smoothed out rather than have LED's inserted. It seems a bit kitchy to me, plus Audi's do this well enough, so I would rather leave it to them.

im right there with you on that.. actually that headlight idea of yours is awesome.
btw i grouped them like that cus the only people that drive them in my area are arigant high schoolers that think they can run up on anybodys crew and dominate everything on the street saying "i have the 370 you have the 350 ur slow" but then i found out that hes an idiot after beating him... u ready for this. and i quote "my car has like 220hp to the wheel and u have mods"and at the time i had the exhaust and a carbon hood only (personal example but thats also y i said that thing about not talking about the driver and just the car) they come up talking sh** and then i put them in there place and the get mad. lol
so to me it seems like that way. sorry lol

Remind me to ask one of my interior designers at work about the merits of the 370z exterior. Since after all, they're professional designers.

Or one of our graphic artists.

Or one of our project managers.

I did not say I was an authority on product/transportation design, I didn't even say that my opinion mattered any more than any other person's opinion. He made a broad, generalizing statement about the type of people that like the car, I gave my view. It was more of a response to the "high school kids with no sense of style" comment.

Why look for the fight? I didn't go out of my way to point out that my credentials made my opinion superior. Even so, I didn't even argue with him about it, I merely asserted my perspective, from a (profession) and (age) point of view.

your right. i can go and say im a work for biggest aftermarket shop in texas witch i do but im not saying im important im just letting the other person know who he is talking to. witch is smart. im glad he said what he did. it let me know who he was.
i respect him for that. forums are a place for teaching, learning, and opinions
i work at ProTechnik and im 21 and working on my degree. it helps people understand where im coming from.

btw i take back what i said about the highschool. it was a stupid thing to say. i was just venting cus that guy pissed us off and never paid me. yet my opinion still stands about the looks of the 370z but im entitled to that. i just doesnt sit right with me.

anyways me and ctzn are not fighting just exchanging opinions. i wish all thread could read like that.
