I bought a used 2007 350Z, it has black paint with blue flake in it, the flake is only noticeable under direct sun light. The car looks like it has been re-painted at some point. The paint code in the door says G41. I think this is the "Magnetic Black" color code. My question is does the factory G41 black paint have blue flake in it?
I need to have my front bumper cover replaced and I found a place online that will sell me an already painted bumper cover for $429 shipped, but i want to get it painted the correct matching color.

Maybe it was re-painted San Marino?

 

It's definitely not San Marino blue, San Marino blue looks like a dark blue in the sun light, my car looks black in the sun light but the flake can be seen only once you get close to the car.

 

I guess I'll assume the silence means no one here knows if "G41 Magnetic Black" has any blue glitter/flake in it.

 

call an automotive paint supply store, they can tell you what it is comprised of and answer your question
