I think the 19" stock wheels on the sport package are so amazingly good-looking that I would never ever change them...

Hmm, I prefer a smaller wheel and a higher profile tire than what is there. Seems like overkill. There doesn't seem like enough sidewall there for me. Just my own preference.

Stock comes with 19's.As you know we wheels people got to find out offset and max size that this 370z will fit.
After we put a 350z set up on,it was way too small.Like some 350z comes with stock 18's everyone buy 19's.
When we did 19x9.5et22+19x10.5et22 and being lowerd the new 370z looks so funny.19 or 20's on the new 370Z if what we all is going to find out.Pay $3600 with tires for a set of 19's when it's already come with 19's is a little waste of money.
If you think 20's is too big,in Japan they are doing 22's now,man that's carzy.
But when i do a 370z with 19's i'll post some pix for you guys.
Fun pictures

Japan is 22's? I thought it was the other way around. I thought they liked to keep it tight with 17's. Hmm.. Some one fact check this so I don't sound like a douche please o_O

I think its the size of the wheel wells thats screwing up the porportions with these rims. 20" dont fill out the wheel well on the 370z. I have 20" on my 350z and they look positively huge to some folks and it fills out the wheel well beautifully. You will need 21" at least if you want that "filled out" look. Performance hit will obviously be more than just the 20's. As mentioned 19's on the 350z were +1 and alot of the "all about performance" guys were rocking the +1 19's on the 350z. 20" rims are +1 on the 370z so the 20" haters need to adjust there hater radar to this new platform

Dont like these wheels and it looks tucked in and not flush. Anyway we can get a full on rear shot from low down so we can see the width of the 315's in relation to the body of the 370z? Thats the money shot and so far everyone that has fitted 315's has avoided

There is clearly no wheel gap at the top in these shots...if anything they look tucked. The wheel gap in front and behind the wheels is what is odd/different from the 350. Call it side gap if you want, but the shape of the new wheel arches is wider/more ovular. I think the key here is to not slam it but just give it a mild drop with aggressive offsets...that will visually fill the space much better.

For me I think it is the extremely low aspect ratio of the tires that makes it look strange. If you went up a couple notches on the aspect ratio, kept the 20" that would fill the wheel well. There would not be a "side gap" as 350Zenophile put it. Why did you guys go with such a low aspect ratio?

Either a higher aspect ratio tire or a bigger rim, like you said, will fill that up. Like this.

the offsets and ride height are the best I have seen so far, but those rims are so ungodly ugly.

like, integra circa 2000 ugly.
