Default APS TT what turbos and are they the same size?

Hello! My aps TT kit is on the way, just curious what Garret turbos they are, and if they are the identical size? I cant find anything on the APS site about the details.

I'd have to look back through the threads but I'm pretty sure thats what Peter from APS sent to someone via PM. Doesn't the JWT kit use 2582s? Damn I'm too lazy to look it up right now. Maybe tomorrow.

hmmm well the inlets are definatly not 3" so there isnt a 71mm compressor. But then again, GT28's are only rated at 320hp each, dont APS claim 800HP combined??

Yes exactly. Heres the thread:
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....olf+Turbo+size
I dug through APS and JWTs info. The JWT BB700 turbos are GT2860Rs. Look at the compressor map comparisons in that thread. As for the APS turbos the Garrett GT2871R corresponds to the 800 HP rating by APS. Each one is rated at 400 HP:

They are a hybrid GT25/35 - that was how they were refered to in the beginning. Garrett then changed the terminology and referred to them as a GT2871R

How does one purchase a TT kit without knowing what's included??? Seriously did you just google 350Z Twin Turbo and buy the frist kit that came up? I'm sorry to jump on your back but come on!!! Did you do any research to supporting mods you'll need or should get. IE: Clutch/Flywheel, Gauges, better EMS like UTEC. I'm sorry but this is just crazy. I'm amazed that people just buy high dollar items without knowing excately what they are buying. [/rant]

Question, the tuner kit has 12Ib actuators, does this mean I cannot run below 12Ib of boost?
