i wonder how hard it would be to copy your piping to make it more than a "1 off kit"
that graph was why i started pm'ing intense about making the kit

I don't have the specs off hand.

At this time there are 4 cars that are currently making over 900whp:

1. Intensepower G35 Coupe (PowerLab 76s, stock crank 3.5L)
2. Injected (Custom S/T 4.2L and/or 4.0L)
3. Sound Performance (SP Twin turbo, stock crank)
4. Mazoo (Chris S/Intensepower built/PowerLab twin GT37r, AEBS 4.2L)

So, 50% of the VQ RWD cars making 900+ are S/T, and half of them are PowerLab. Our G would have made over 1000whp but the clutch let go on the dyno. So, it's a debate weather or not "big single" caught on or not. Injected has the quickest Z33 in the world, and it's running a S/T. SP has the quickest 6MT and they're running a twin. We have the quickest and fastest G35 and we're running a big single.

Your call... but there's 2 approaches, and they both have almost identical results at the drag strip when above 1100whp. I don't see anyone making any definitive claims that can sway anyone to one side or the other for a 1/4 mile car given these results..

Well let me know what kinda of lead time there would be for the 76s kit. Can you use any other turbos?

Supras seems to do just fine on the street with big singles.

How much bigger is a 76s compared to a gt37.

Their power curves almost overlay. So why would you ever want a gt37 over a 76s? If people say that the 76s would be laggy, I guess the 37r would be as well.

Also if you just compare wheel speed and power between the 76s and the gt35, they basically overlay as well? The 76s should actually be lower rpms at any given speed bc its using 28" tires. So if anything, that would shift its curve to the left, making more area under the curve compared to the gt35?

76s

GT37r

GT35

You got those from our various dyno pulls (35R/37R/76S) correct?

I'm assuming that you are building a drag car, correct?

ya, those are all your dynos. Seems like the curves between the 3 turbos are all very similiar.

It will be a hwy car with as much drag strip as i can fit in. I'd trade some low end for high end, as in town driving means not much boosting anyhow.

but what turbo is the 76? I assume that means a 76 mm compressor inducer wheel? like a precision 7675? a renamed GT42?

I believe this is an option only if the install is done in-house by Intense.

^ haha, i knew you would appreciate that!

But sounds like that kit needs to be built on the car, and sending it to AZ isnt feasible. IP has 2 big single cars and they are only 500 miles away and thats even pretty far.
