Is it like this for everyone?

Whenever I open a thread, I open to the most recent page and have to scroll down to see earlier posts. The OP is always on the last page (technically the first, but it's in the opposite order)

Can someone tell me how to change this? It's frustrating as hell, I feel dumb not being able to figure it out!!!

Because you have saved a reverse sort as your default view.

Go to the User Control Panel and select Edit Options. Look for the Thread Options section. Set the Thread Display mode to be "Linear - Oldest First"
