Z1 Motorsports Brake Master Cylinder Brace is the premier and most affordable brake upgrade you can buy for your 350Z, G35 Coupe, or G35 Sedan. It is effective for Z's and G's either on the track or in traffic. Increase brake response and driver confidence with this elegant mod.
When pressing the brake pedal, the force applied is transferred through the pedal assembly and unto the firewall. Although reinforced, the firewall is still easily manipulated. Z1's Brake Master Cylinder Brace provides a halt to this flex by securing the Master Cylinder against a series of solid aluminum brackets fastened through the false firewall and directly to the driver side strut tower.
If you are not convinced of the need for such an accessory, grab a friend and pop the hood or your Z or G. Remove any covers around your brake Master Cylinder. Have your friend sit in the driver's seat and press hard on the brake pedal a few times. Watch the Master Cylinder move towards the front of the car with each press of the pedal.
