^^really. I avoid those places when I was back there. I wanted to experience more of the country life, plus there was too much prositution around those clubs.

I get ya...experiencing the culture is a must...but come night time and you see all these young beautiful girls at restaurants, bars, etc. Temptations and desires take over esp being young and single. Not all the girls there are prostitutes. Some are just really nice girl from rich families...you can tell right away. But yeah...sometimes I miss it too

you're not a fob but the opposite (Fresh Off the Boat) since you're raised up here in America.

Its very good to keep in touch with your herritage. I grew up in a English/Spanish environment and at one point in my life forgot how to speak Vietnamese. I now attend chua every week and my vietnamese is coming back fast. I love it! I am greatfull that I had the oppertunity to experience other cultures.... but never forget your past.

HAVE FUN!.....Viet Kieu! I'm sure you're fall in love with Viet Nam. Takes some pics and post it! I would love to see them. I'm always searching the net for pics of Viet Nam.

One regret I had was not getting more clothes made! I got one suite w/vest, 3 shirts made, 2 pants and it all cost about $100 and the quality is better than ones at Men's Warehouse!

I understand, everyone has their things. For me, at night times I like hanging out with my realatives that lives there. (We live in a Village, Ang Bang, about 1hr from Hue) so couldn't go the clubs at night but when I WAS in the city I enjoy taking my little cousins out to bowling, movies, etc.....They're not rich so I like to spoil them
