hehe.. i really want some wheels bad... but then get wheels have to lower the car.. i really want to keep my car at stock height that's why i want to just get stock 06 wheels...

 

i am sure a lot of people are willing to sell if you start a thread... a few 06 people changed the rims and sure they still have the stock one in their garage...

 

but i rather buy them locally.. i refuse to pay for shipping... hehe...with shipping cost i can go buy a jwt popcharger... i already posted in a local car forum.. wtg....

I don't know i just don't like that style.. i really like volks but to expensive.. don't want to spend that kind of money on something for just one car that i might have for another year or so... i love those deep dish wheels but i dunno i rather go with stock wheels, veilside v1 front lip, nismo sides, tinted window... intake, exhaust and just call it done...subtle and easy..

 

06 18" stock wheels look small sideways. They look OK from a 45 degree front angle. Also, the fender gaps are kind of big (IMO) and not to mention they are heavy (26 lbs per)......

Don't waste money on an extra set of stock wheels. My guess is that they are going for $900-$1000 with tires. A set of 19' Axis Hiro rims and tires (brand new) is about $2000. A used set with tires is around $1100-$1500. For just a few hundred more (used set), you got a set of bigger and better looking wheels, if not lighter.

If you sell your car later, stock wheels are not worth a dime (unless they are oem rays... )

just my opinion....

 

i just want to sell my touring wheels for 5-6 hundred bucks then ditch a couple more hundred and get the 06 wheels.. if you willing to take off your wheels and send them here i would be happy!!!..

I want to do all kinds of stuff to my car but i dunno i feel like it's a waste of money you know how asian people think now.. i rather use that money to go on vacations to hk...

 

Just painted my brake calipers... took me 3 good hours.. I had to jack up a corner at a time, removed the wheel, painted the caliper, waited for it to dry, put the wheel back on and moved onto the next wheel...

overall, the result is good....wanted to take some good pics but could not move the car because paint is not completely dried yet...

 

i wish i can get off my lazy but and start doing stuff to my car...
