Well, I got a Filipina gf, go to the PI at least 4 times a year, spend at least 2-3 months a year there. I also happen to live there for over a year (2000). Does that count?
The Filipino's born here don't seem to know Cueshe or Kitchie Nadal but they are both bands that get a lot of air time in the PI. I happen to see Kitchie play right when she put out her first CD and no one had really heard of her yet. Now, she is on the billboards for McDo everywhere in Manila.
