I tried the search button before anyone tries to be smart!

I am looking to hardwire my Solo S2 to my rearview mirror. I am assuming that all I need is a phone cord and the patience to wire it. Is this assumption correct? Has anyone hardwired a Solo S2 yet? Do you have pix.

Also, is hardwiring this the same as doing the 8500?
