Default sirius mobile unit and bose amp

hey guys and gals,
I have a quick question. I recently got a christmas present early and it was the sirius satellite radio tuner with a home docking and mobile docking station. I love it!! cant stop listening to it.

right now i have it in my car, a little bulky but i dont care and am just using the FM modulator to tune it into 88.7 FM. It also comes with RCA cables to hook into the amp.

My question, is with my 03 touring, BOSE amp (please save the BLOSE comments cause i am happy with it), does it have the auxillary ports on it to hook these cables into it? I have had the TSB done, so its the more recent amplifier. any help is greatly appreciated. I would like to know this before taking apart the panels for nothing if it doesnt have it.

oh yeah i tried a search for this and could not find anything. found one thread where a guy asked this same thing but never got a response.

thanks.

I am thinking about doing the same. My understanding is that you need one of these:

yeah i was just reading that now that it has been bumped back up the thread list in the last few days.

all i can say is, hey-zeus!!! thats a lot of crap to do to just install an in/aux line for something that is already functioning. i mean i can see justifying doing it for maybe an MP3 player but my sirius is already working, just going through the FM soundwaves on the low end 88.1-88.7 and there is minor static at certain times.

basically what i am saying is that it is not worth the trouble and chance of screwing something up for just the elimination of a little static. i thought maybe i could just plug something into the amp.

thanks for all of the help though. really appreciate it!!!

No

Here's what you can do, there's an auto pilot mic under the steering wheel column, you can put a resistor in the connector, this will void out the Autopilot compleatly.

LOC (line output converters) this is a great way to add an amp, you can buy them at any audio place, but look for an adjustable kind, you can tap into the front and rear speakers run some RCA's to a 4 channel amp to power front and rear speakers, and/or tap into the Rear sub, and add a 2 channel amp to that.

There's plenty of things you can do to customize your Bose Deck
