Default two questions:headunit wiring diagram with colors help and sub panel removal

I just took out my headunit in my 2004 non bose 350z. I want to hook up a headunit to it, but my wiring harness seems to have the wrong colors. Does anyone have a headunit wiring diagram with the colors and what the colors mean? I need to match up the correct colored wires with the new headunit.

Also, does anyone know how to remove that metal panel behind the drivers seat (where the stock bose sub would go)? I could easily remove that plastic panel. How do I remove the metal one?

I've been searching a long time for these answers but was unable to find exactly what I needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To get the best effect from a sub put it in a box in the trunk. It may take up your space but...it sounds a hell lot better.

look at www.installdr.com

There's a nissan diagram there. You really should buy the aftermarket harness plug instead of cutting off the stock one.

These illustrations with call outs may help you. I just finished installing a whole new system and it works great! In my situation I retained the head unit and just wired up a (LOC) for my OEM non bose HU.

It sound awesome to say the least!

If you want to remove your metal OEM sub panel you have to remove the plastic paneling. Well...at least I did.
