Delphi Satellite Radio Install Question

Ok I just bought the Delphi SKYFi2 Vehicle System. I have heard bad things about the FM modulator sound quality and dont want to use that nor do I have a tape player. I have an Alpine 9833 cd player that is XM ready. What do I need to do to make this work with my cd player besides using the FM modulator? I have read people using the PAC for their BOSE units and was wondering about that with my CD player. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If it is XM ready then the instructions provided with the HU should tell you.

If you want to use your Alpine unit for XM, you'll need the tuner box and the Alpine adaptor for it. Both total will run you about 100 bucks.

ya u dont really need a skyfi2 with that alpine. Just buy the parts needed for the alpine and u can use the controls on the alpine for sattelite radio... If you want to use skyfi im sure there are AUX inputs on the back of it so you can connect to it directly
