Question what dash kit for a new headunit

I am looking to put the new alpine CDA-9831 headunit in, but i am not sure if I like the dash kits with the built in pocket. I think i would rather have one without the pocket (looks more custom). Anyone know of a dash kit like this or have a pic of one in their car?

I think almost everyone(if not everyone) has the little cubby hole. It's just more practical.

its got the cubby hole, but the american international fits much better than the metra if you go that route.

Get the one without the cubby and put a center channel speaker in the 2nd din opening, or maybe an eq. The cubby kits just don't look good to me.

I agree there is just something that I don't like about the kits with a cubby. And honestly I don't care about practicality, if I did I never would have bought the Z.
