Question Howto take out stock BOSE headunit to replace?

I see that there's a how-to on taking apart the dash, is that necessary to replace the stock Bose headunit? And are there any different steps involved for me since I have factory GPS as well? Or do I still follow those same steps? I used to have a Ford Mustang (1999) and a bent coathanger would easily pop out it's stock headunits, I'm guessing this Bose sucker is gonna require me to take apart a lot more?

This is the how-to I'm referring to:

http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/

Starting at step 7 it talks about removing a retaining clip from inside the stock nav cubby (in a 350z w/o navigation). How does this step differ from what I have to go through since I have stock navigation?

Can anyone please help? I'm expecting my new headunit via UPS this evening (in a few more hours). Thanks!
